All About Mrs. Glendinning
I would like to introduce myself and let you know a little about my background. My name is Shawna Glendinning and I grew up in Chatham, Ontario. I currently live here in Tillsonburg. I have lived here for eleven years with my family.
Professional
This will be my fourth year at Westfield Public School. I taught two years at Annandale Public School, two years at Maple Lane Public School and five years at South Ridge Public School. I have been teaching for 19 years; almost all in Oxford County. Much of my teaching experience has been with the Junior Grades and I enjoy teaching that age group. I have experience in teaching Grade 3, 4, and 5. I have been teaching grade 5 for the last three years.
Academic
I attended Lakehead University in Thunder Bay, Ontario. I received my Honours Bachelor of Arts; majoring in English and History. I also have my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. I completed my Education degree at Althouse (Western University in London).
Family
I am married and have two children and two cats. My husband’s name is Shane. He is a web designer and assisted me in getting this site up and running. My daughter is 16 and is starting her grade eleven year of highschool, she is attending WCI in Woodstock. My son is 13 and attends Annandale Public School. Our cats’ names are Jewels and Jordy.

I am very excited as this new school year to begin. I am honoured to be your child’s teacher. I am looking forward to working together to help make this year the best that it can be.
